Many of us - including your presenters Lathreas and Zennith - want to actually be our fursonas some day. For some, it would just be awesome, and for others, it would be profoundly liberating and affirming. At the Freedom of Form Foundation, we’re working on making it possible within our lifetimes. “Okay, cool, but how? Can you really do that?” We’re glad you asked! We’ll start by introducing you to some important concepts about how cells self-organize and make decisions. We’ll then compare and contrast some natural systems with the sorts of engineering you would need to transform an adult. And that brings us to the most exciting part - our game plan on making transformations possible in our lifetimes, and our progress bootstrapping some of the most crucial research projects so far. We want to see audience participation, and we’ll leave a lot of time for questions!

An ASL interpreter will be at this panel.
